Sell Advanced Analytics services to existing and new clients - both Manufacturers and Retailers - to achieve the planned revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction. Proactively search for new clients and opportunities in the market focusing on FMCG but also on other industries where organized trade is present.
Responsibilities:
- Sales hunting for new opportunities across manufacturers and retailers: Independently sell Advanced Analytics services, successfully assess the needs of our clients, and proactively cross selling and upselling to existing and new clients through the different Analytics solutions, to achieve targeted personal and team’s objectives (financial and commercials).
- Accountable to meet personal and team financial monthly/quarterly/yearly targets set by the business. Participate in the preparation of business and sales plans and provide proactive and integrated analysis for customers, make recommendations and proposals.
- Be compliant & responsive to financial and business discipline rules and to other reporting needs by using the appropriate NielsenIQ tools.
- Liaising and collaborating with other departments / individuals / teams in NielsenIQ (i.e. Client Business Partners, RMS team, Product and Delivery teams, Regional Analytics team), ensuring our clients receive the requested services in the right quality and format.
- Participate in sharing best practices with the team across the cluster to support in growing the overall analytics business.
- Continuously work on self-education and participate in further trainings, to adopt up-to-date knowledge related to Advanced Analytics tools and solutions and to raise the standard of service and consulting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in business management, economics, behavioral sciences, statistics, or related area
- Masters degree in an above mentioned field (preferred)
- 2+ years experience in a sales role or similar (e.g. handling business clients directly)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
- Excellent presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (mainly excel, powerpoint)
- Solid analytical - logic skills
- Strong organizational skills – with a focus on both short and long-term
- Competent negotiator with good influencing skills
- Able/confident to work with pre-defined targets to achieve/exceed these targets
- Able to perform complex tasks and to manage simultaneous projects requiring high level of focus and prioritization
- Able to work both independently as well as collaboratively with internal & external teams
- Intellectual curiosity and persistence to find answers to questions
- Outgoing personality and confidence to meet and engage with clients on a regular basis
