Responsibilities

The NielsenIQ Retail Analytics team is looking for a Client Manager to support client needs and strategically manage client relationships across a portfolio of accounts. This is your opportunity to work with world-class data assets and deliver value on a massive scale.

Working under the guidance of an Associate Client Director, the Client Manager will contribute to overall client satisfaction, team success, and technical platform capabilities. A strong candidate will proactively maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, train clients and internal users on using our applications, and proactively identify ways clients can use NIQ solutions to answer their relevant business questions.

As a Client Manager, you will:

  • Train retailers on how to use NielsenIQ data and dashboard solutions to execute pricing, promotion, and assortment decisions
  • Lead client teams by designing, selling, executing, and presenting analytic studies to meet client’s research objectives
  • Penetrate and establish enduring client relationships with senior decision-makers at clients by demonstrating ongoing value by driving client outcomes
  • Ensure quality data, proactive insights, and action-oriented solutions are delivered to clients
  • Grow and develop with a team responsible for delivering against client commitments
  • Accountable for driving account renewals and overall portfolio value to meet revenue goals
  • Identify opportunities to collaborate across NielsenIQ teams and uncover sales opportunities with clients.

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4+ years’ applicable experience, preferably within the Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods industry
  • Strong analytical aptitude     
  • Highly proficient in various software solutions and digital technologies, including SQL, Google Suite, and Microsoft applications, including Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with MicroStrategy is a plus.
  • Proven experience with successfully meeting sales revenue targets is a plus
  • Related industries include Retail, Pricing, Analytics, Promotion, Supply Chain, Consumer Packaged Goods, Consulting, Information, Sales
  • Strong logic, deductive reasoning, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills                   
  • Skilled & polished communicator, including group presentations & proposal writing
  • Ability to sell NielsenIQ solutions that help our clients meet strategic goals. 
  • Demonstrated mastery in data analysis & application to client business issues
  • Demonstrated strength in maintaining positive client relationships in complex situations & resolving client issues
  • People management, training, and development experience preferred
  • Strong project management skills & "storytelling" abilities
  • Able to work collaboratively with internal & external teams
  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability to drive client outcomes
