Job Description
The VP Leader is a critical business and leadership role within North American retail and across the entire North American operating division. This role will focus specifically on rollout of the NIQ Activate platform, this role will be responsible for senior to executive client management and relationships, business development, industry relations, new client acquisition, supporting global business units, and collaborating with manufacturer, operations, product, finance, legal and contracts, strategy, the Revenue Office, HR and our executive teams.
Your success in this role will be driven by four areas. First, to build and grow relationships at senior and executive levels within the industry. Second, working with our client’s senior leaders and C-Suite stakeholders to understand their needs and translate that into successful implementations of the NIQ Activate platform to enable sustainable revenue, including contract renewals and net new agreements. Third, coaching and developing future leaders within NIQ. Fourth, identify and lead game changing enterprise strategies to accelerate NIQ growth and our ability to WIN in the market in respect of Personalized Offers and Digital Coupons.
Your proven track record in strategy, relationships, teaming and business development will position you to drive scaled implementation of the NIQ Activate platform with our clients.

- Executive leadership and relationships internally and externally
- Public speaking, media engagement and industry relations at a senior to executive level
- Deep financial understanding of the customer strategies and P&L
- Enterprise leadership and project management for corporate initiatives
Qualifications
- 10-15+ years of retail, manufacturer or consultative selling experience
- Relevant experience with research techniques & solutions in the related industries of FMCG, Consulting, Information, Sales, Analytics and Insights or similar
- Effective in senior level communications, influencing & negotiation
- Proven and quantifiable overachievement of revenue, sales and profitability objectives; strong pipeline management skills with a track record of predictability and consistency
- Proficient with financial & contractual management
- Proven skills managing selling cycles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex issues in a concise and persuasive manner to a diverse audience
- A flexible approach to communication; able to adapt their message quickly to the appropriate level or function with poise and polish
- Proven consultative selling skills; able to identify and diagnose root client issues versus symptoms and link the diagnosis to NIQ Activate
- Working and pragmatic knowledge of various syndicated data offerings; ability to translate data knowledge into tactical and strategic solution frameworks
- Familiarity with and ability to speak to all key NIQ Solutions
- Willingness to travel will depend on the location of the candidate's residence. Location requirements are flexible.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
