NIQ operates industry-leading consumer panels that allow manufacturers and retailers to measure and understand longitudinal consumer & shopper behavior that drives changes in sales and market share online and offline. To accomplish this, innovation is key.  This team develops and drives the go-forward product strategy for NIQ and defines the market opportunities that shape our products that manufacturers and retailers use to make strategic business decisions.

Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving consumer panel engagement through the development and execution of cutting-edge incentive and reward programs. Your role will encompass managing consumer panels and communication through mobile and email communications and designing strategies and tactics that motivate consumers to comply with the tasks required by the mobile app. You will you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design both monetary and non-monetary incentive initiatives that resonate with our target audience while keeping the costs of panel maintenance reasonable.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop a comprehensive strategy for consumer engagement incentive programs that aligns with the company's overall objectives and market trends.
  • Consumer Behavior Understanding: Gain an understanding of how to engage consumers across different demographic groups and across different countries and cultures.
  • Program Development: Conceptualize, design, and implement incentive programs to drive consumer behavior, increase brand loyalty, and improve customer retention.
  • Monetary Incentives: Devise and manage monetary incentive programs such as cash-back offers, rebates, lucky draw/raffles, loyalty points, referral bonuses, and other financial rewards.
  • Non-Monetary Incentives: Create and oversee non-monetary incentive programs, including gamification, social recognition, personalized experiences, unlock additional app functions/utilities, and recognition-based rewards.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics and consumer insights to make data-driven decisions and continuously optimize incentive programs for maximum impact.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Development, Finance, and Operations, to ensure seamless execution of incentive programs and alignment with overall business goals.
  • Program Performance Tracking: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor program performance, providing reports and recommendations to senior leadership. Champion a rapid test and learn practice and enable decisions through well-designed consumer tests. 
  • Compliance and Legal Considerations: Ensure all incentive programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including privacy and data protection.  This is a global role therefore understanding the operating environment in different countries is crucial.
  • Budget Management: Effectively manage budgets and allocate resources to maximize the return on investment for incentive programs.  Achieve long-term reduction of panel management costs.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify best practices and innovative approaches in the field of consumer engagement.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, program management, or marketing roles with a proven track record of developing successful incentive and reward programs, ideally associated with mobile-app-based consumer engagement.
  • Consumer Insights: Strong understanding of consumer behavior and preferences across demographics and cultures, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive decision-making.
  • Innovative Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think creatively and develop innovative consumer engagement strategies.
  • Project Management: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present ideas to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and the use of relevant tools and platforms to derive actionable insights.
  • Passion for Customer Engagement: A genuine passion for enhancing the consumer experience and driving customer engagement.
