Resposibilities:

  • Understand requirements and scope of a project 
  • Identify inconsistencies and gaps in requirements and communicate with Product Owner 
  • Maintain knowledge of the architecture of the platform and product features 
  • Maintain complete functional knowledge of the product  
  • Create and execute manual test cases  
  • Identify and execute regression tests, integration tests 
  • Identify and execute tests for backward compatibility 
  • Perform exploratory testing and identify potential defects and usability issues 
  • Log defects and co-ordinate with developers to resolve them 
  • Provide end-user perspective for features and components under test with emphasis on user experience 
  • Work closely with other teams for cross functional requirements and collaboration 
  • Identify and implement QA processes in support of providing quality products. 
  • Educate new hires and team members on application, tools, technologies, processes 
  • Follow community best practices and team SDLC guidelines 

 

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of manual QA experience 
    • MS/BS in Software Engineering or related discipline 
    • Strong understanding of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) concepts and practices to continually assess the risks and quality of products and releases. 
    • Experience in manual testing methodologies, test plan development, and test case creation 
    • Strong knowledge of software testing techniques and best practices 
    • Testing Experience with Web-application/Cross browser  
    • Knowledge of the latest UI technologies and trends (Which Latest UI Technology)
    • Experience working with Cloud-based applications is nice to have 
    • Experience working in onshore-offshore model 
    • Familiarity working in Agile-Scrum environment and software production release process
