As a Client Director - Retail Analytics, you will be responsible for leading a team that identifies and crafts business-issue solutions by working collaboratively with Professional Services teams across the assigned portfolio of clients. Typical client engagements require you and/or your team members to lead meetings to help scope creative solutions to business issues, manage completion of projects, and deliver analytics-insights through storytelling. You and your team must have the ability to bridge the "language gap" between clients, client service, and technical aspects of our operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading integrated analyses in support of client's strategic initiatives. Present analyses to senior level client contacts complete with actionable insights and recommendations for the client's business.
- Proactively providing subject matter expertise to client in support of strategic client business issues including Pricing, Promotion and Assortment.
- Maintaining and building productive business relationships with key client contacts
- Working collaboratively with other NielsenIQ Retail Analytics teams, including the Sales, Implementation, & Operations teams, to further develop existing tools and identify revenue opportunities outside of contracted services
Qualifications
- 8+ years’ experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), CPG Retail, and/or market research industry required
- 2+ years’ experience of direct report responsibility mentoring, managing and leading associates
- Demonstrated ability to apply analytic products to CPG/CPG Retail industry business issues
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage end-to projects, from approach/design to delivery of insights
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with ability to deliver impactful client presentations
- Strong analytical aptitude
- Able to work collaboratively with internal & external teams
- Strong sense of urgency and accountability to drive client outcomes while managing multiple priorities
- Strong proficiencies in MS Office applications
- Technical proficiencies in NielsenIQ Connect, Answers on Demand, NielsenIQ Insights Studio (NIS), Revenue Management Optimization (RMO), Assortment & Space Optimization (ASO), and/or SPECTRA a plus
- Intermediate proficiency in financial & contract management preferred
- BA/BS required; Master's degree a plus
