This is a hybrid work environment with the expectation of being in the office 2-3 days a week.

Job Description

As a Instructional Designer you will be part of the Product Education team in the customer success group and will develop training and education materials that are used by our customers and internal teams.

In this role, you will apply our products and services to valuable, easy-to-consume content for our customers’ empowerment and education. Additionally, you will integrate the content within Activate’s Education assets – Learning Management System, Customer Communication and Knowledge Center directly impacting and elevating Activate’s customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content
  • Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write user guides, training materials, videos and e-learnings
  • Write user-friendly designed content that meets the needs of the target audience, turning insights language that sets our users up for success
  • Review, Rewrite and redesign current training & education materials
  • Ongoing updates & maintenance of the existing materials
  • Writing users release communication
  • Work closely with Customer Success and product teams

Qualifications

  • Fluent English – A MUST
  • 1-3 years’ industry experience as an Product Education Specialist instructional designer, content writer or tech writer
  • Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences
  • Proficiency with Storyline, Camtasia, PPT, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Experience working with learning platforms (LMS/LXP/KMS)
  • Experience with Product, Product Marketing, Customer Success or Marketing, preferably in a SaaS and Retail Tech environment
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
  • Good creative and design skills
