About this job

As a HR Generalist, you will be embedding company HR strategy working in collaboration with COE’s and by providing professional HR guidance and support to relevant internal client groups with the objective to add value to the business. We are looking for an HR Generalist to join NielsenIQ Technology team in one of our strategic locations. 

Our teams are co-located and agile, with central offices in Chennai, Pune & Chicago.  

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Lead HR Analytics and Employee Engagement for Tech Offices (India).  

• Manage employee queries and people managers queries through our HR platform and beyond.  

• Manage HR Database Management, HR Metrics & Reporting and related projects.  

• Analyze key HR data and provide insights & recommendations to senior HR / BU leaders. 

• Automate and improve HR processes in the organization.  

• Deliver and improve Onboarding Programs to provide better employee experience.  

• Manage employee engagement initiatives and other site-specific events.  

• Act as POC to associates on site specific policies, systems & processes related queries. 

• Understand employee opinions and anticipate their needs and concerns.  

• Work closely with the HR COEs, Finance & Facilities team.    

• Manage specific projects as well as participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives. 

• Act as stewards of the employee experience and NielsenIQ Culture. 

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU 

• Good Knowledge on SAP/Workday, HR Metrics, MS Office Suites, SharePoint, Macros 

• Digitally enabled/tech savvy 

• Possess excellent Analytical and Interpretation skills.  

• Ability to deal with a fast paced growing environment.  

• Passion to create a ‘Great to place work’ through innovative initiatives.  

• Passion to organize and drive various engagement events / activities.  

• Customer Service Orientation.   

• Understand employee opinions, monitor the effect of business decisions on people, and advise senior leaders on addressing employees’ concerns 

• Apply employee relations and employment practices in order to create a positive, ethical, inclusive work environment.  

• Motivation to learn more and develop skills quickly 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Preferred Higher Education in Human Resource Management.  

• Fresher to 3 years of experience in HR with good exposure on HR Analytics covering the entire employee life cycle process and employee engagement role.
