From Day 1 in this role, you will work on multinational FMCG companies across geographies. We are looking for an experienced researcher to play a crucial role in the BASES ANZ team, managing a team of ~4 analysts, overseeing the study process from start to finish and liaising closely with the clients on their research objectives, execution of the project, delivering and presenting the results, and discussing their innovation strategy in the long term.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work as a key client contact, consulting on study design and outcomes / implications
  • Effectively lead client meetings and results presentations with appropriate support
  • Work with junior team members and on your own to write reports answering client’s business questions.
  • Demonstrate ownership for every project and manage them in an effective, timely and accurate manner.
  • Construct and implement analytical/forecasting plans.
  • Analyze consumer data and provide report conclusions and recommendations, with minimal supervision.
  • Coach and support more junior analysts in the development of their projects, review and manage their performance.

As a BASES Market Research Manager, you will help multinational FMCG companies across geographies decide how best to innovate their products and optimize their profit.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience (consumer research, market research, marketing)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication.
  • Ability to work in a virtual / digital-enabled environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organization and time-management, and the ability to multitask.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and numerical skills
  • Interest in marketing (particularly consumer product marketing) and research
  • Experience with consumer marketing, statistics, research techniques, and experimental designs (must have). 
  • Experience running NPD consumer research and/or quantitative consumer research would be beneficial.
