Working together globally, our SIP Team is responsible for paying sellers timely and accurately utilizing sales compensation plans that are motivational and market competitive. Sales Compensation Analysts play a key role helping the sales organization achieve business objectives by executing and administering the company’s variable remuneration policies and programs.  

The SIP crew is a vibrant and multicultural team with direct responsibility for the sales incentive plan for more than 4,000 participants and 90+ countries around the globe.  

Job Description

  • Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results around calculating incentive award payments to sales personnel based on SIP plan provisions. Verifies and follows through, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments as outlined in SIP plans. 
  • Serves as subject matter expert of NielsenIQ’s SIP plans and proactively provides consultative support to assigned stakeholders. 
  • Continually reviews the SIP program to assist management decision-making in improving understanding and resolution of issues that might affect the execution of the program. 
  • Performs staff support activities needed for the development, implementation, communication and administration of sales commission or incentive programs, plans, policies, and quotas. 
  • Reviews incentive payment reports for accuracy and completeness. Resolves complex reconciliation issues. 
  • Contributes to the development or improvement of systems and/or processes to effectively administer SIP plans. 
  • Take initiative and lead key projects to enhances the way of working across the team. 
  • Effectively prioritizes responsibilities across multiple tasks/projects and work to tight deadlines. 
  • Takes a leadership role when interacting with stakeholders, with a strong level of influence and guidance on the Sales Incentive Program. 
  • Partners with business leaders, HR, Finance, and commercial teams at a local and regional level to administer all SIP plans effectively and efficiently. 
  • Consistently communicates well in a cross-functional team, minimizing conflict, and maintaining focus on solutions. 
  • Mentors, trains and assists inexperienced analysts in daily activities. 
  • Demonstrates openness and willingness to quickly learn new skills and adapt to changing demands in the role. 
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, finance, or a related business discipline required 
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience required; Financial analysis experience preferred 
  • Experience working with Sales Compensation Software(sales compensation software(Callidus (SAP Commissions) Ana Plan, Captivate IQ etc) a must
  • Detail oriented and exhibit a passion for data. Must have strong quantitative, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with ability to research and analyze various types of data. 
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Possess outstanding people skills. Build positive business relationships and work collaboratively 
  • Ability to operate at all levels, staying connected to the details as well as being able to step back and see the bigger picture 
  • Ability to use good judgment, be discreet and highly trustworthy, and demonstrate ethical conduct 
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills, presentation, and facilitation skills as well as interpersonal and consultative skills(Advanced English Skills) 
  • Demonstrate strong initiative and commitment to continuous improvement 
  • Global mindset, international experience and/or exposure preferred
