Job Description

This role is responsible for leading end-to-end operations for critical NielsenIQ markets and also acting as the on-site leader for Operations, representing the Operations teams based in the Vadodara hub. 

As the Operations Leader, you will be the front-facing point of contact from Operations to internal clients including the in-market Operations & commercial leader(s) / external clients (where applicable) - to lead and drive the operations and delivery of our key Product.  

This role involves building and leading a large team hence you will be responsible for employee experience as well as development of associates.

Responsibilities 

As the Operations Leader, you will be responsible for 

  • Ensuring that the agreed upon operational and regulatory processes are complied with and implemented.

  • Managing the Global programs for Market Research Operations and Project Management functions for clients.

  • Responsible for coordinating and managing a highly motivated & cross functional team comprising of 100+ team members in the field of Project Management, Spend Management, Operations Management etc.

  • Complete responsibility of entire project delivery leading the analysis and client interaction.

  • Lead by Example in driving Nielsen’s culture & core values across and influence change management initiatives.

  • Responsible for Appraising and evaluating results of the overall operations on monthly basis.

  • Design policies that align with overall strategy, evaluate and mitigate risk with efficient processes and standards.

  • Providing a strong day-to-day leadership presence; bridging any gap.

Qualifications 

  • Minimum 15 years of a combination of relationship management, operations, client-facing, and CPG industry experience  

  • Multi-functional business experience leading, dynamic organizations, including strong team leadership experience. 

  • Experience developing and implementing strategic business plans; demonstrated capability to balance short term focus with long term planning to deliver business objectives. 

  • Experience managing budgets in a complex business environment. 

  • Knowledge of Nielsen products and operations a huge plus
