Job Description

We are looking for a talented Analytic Consulting Associate with strong skills in data analysis, data interpretation and insights generation. 

You will own, execute, and conduct analytic projects aimed at increasing retailer’s sales in USA and Canada. You will work with data, SQL code and NIQ tools. You will collaborate with the Customer Success and Support teams to lead execution of projects that will shape pricing decisions of today’s leading retailers.

You will become subject matter expert that will be able to explain methodology and commercial implications coming from configuring Retail Pricing solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own project execution using combination of SQL, Excel and NielsenIQ tools,
  • Provide error-free, on-time results internally and to external clients
  • Create and execute project plans for assigned work. Includes collecting, organizing, and tracking data inputs as well as leading internal meetings
  • Ensure analysis results are of high quality from a statistical, logical and a business viewpoint
  • Work consultatively and creatively with NielsenIQ teams to provide accurate answers to client follow ups, following SCQA framework
  • Interpret findings and draw conclusions from model results
  • Explain to commercial teams how to read and interpret the data

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU

You like to work with data, calculations, and codes, but can also communicate clearly and efficiently with people. Managing time and deadlines comes naturally to you. You are curious and are interested in identifying the narratives behind numbers and logical connections between the numbers.

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • College/University Undergraduate Degree
  • 1-2 years of relevant job experience in Data Analytics, Business and/or Marketing
  • Good knowledge of SQL and Excel
  • English fluency
  • Must be able to effectively manage time and a variety of responsibilities
  • Enthusiasm for learning
  • Knowledge of NielsenIQ data, or previous experience with NielsenIQ analytics like Price & Promotion is a plus
  • International work experience would be an asset
