We are seeking a Treasury Manager to join NielsenIQ’s Treasury team. This role will report to the VP, Risk Management & Capital Markets, and will support the management of NielsenIQ’s global insurance program and help provide oversight for 30+ defined benefit pension plans throughout the world. This position will interact with and have exposure to NielsenIQ’s insurance brokers and carriers, company actuaries, and local pension committees. Internally, the position will liaise with the corporate reporting group, various members of the HR benefits team, and local finance teams around the world. 
 
Responsibilities 

  • Lead annual renewals of various global insurance policies, including analyzing and tracking premium quotes, deductibles, coverage levels, and other policy details 

  • Maintain an up-to-date overview of NielsenIQ’s global insurance programs 

  • Develop NielsenIQ’s annual insurance budget and track against accounting accruals and actuals 

  • Handle requests for certificates of insurance 

  • Primary point of contact for insurance claims management 

  • Lead development of new insurance broker RFP’s 

  • Organize, maintain, track, and consolidate the investment management performance for each of the funded defined benefit plans 

  • Maintain and track the trustee, investment manager, and plan actuary rosters for the various defined benefit plans 

  • Support the preparation of the annual budgets for the defined benefit plans 

  • Support transformation projects for both insurance and pensions, including outsourcing of global DC plans, updating investment allocations of pension plans, researching and potentially building a Captive Insurance program 

  • Support M&A integration activities as needed, including for the recently announced GfK deal 

  • Assist in the preparation of insurance or pension reports or analyses for senior management and the board, including reports to the Audit Committee or Global Retirement Plan Review Committee 

  • Ad hoc requests as they come up 
     

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field 

  • 5+ years of experience in insurance, pension, and/or corporate finance environment 

  • Must be able to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines 

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Self-starter, quick learner, and flexible team player 

  • Outstanding attention to detail and eagerness to learn and take on new initiatives 

  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skill 

  • Proficient in MS Word & PowerPoint 

  • Strong desire for continuous improvement and drive to execute changes 

  • Passion for technology: Has a comfort and passion for learning and working with new technology. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
