Project Quotation & Bidding Specialist

Job Description

Key Responsibilities 

  • Determine and provide cost details for RFQs (request for quotation) or expanded project work with a focus on achieving the best rates available due to project requirements within necessary timelines. 
  • Clarify RFQ specifications and client requirements to understand the research purpose. 
  • Provide quoting services based on rate-card within the agreed SLA to support commercial bidding 
  • Ensure internal documentation and costing system procedures are timely and accurately completed. 
  • Partner on the development/execution of vendor management strategy. 
  • Track and update the quotation costs within timelines to support project specification changes. 
  • Review and alert capacity/completion concerns and partner with Vendor Management on sourcing. 

Role requirements: 

  • Experience in market research is a plus (preferably on the agency side): knowledge and understanding of market research methods, participation in projects execution as a fieldwork project manager, fieldwork coordinator, supervisor or interviewer, etc. 
  • Knowledge of pricing for fieldwork in market research, in the local market or in Europe.
  • Advanced level of English both written and speaking
  • Specialized education (sociology, marketing) is a plus.
  • Strong communication and time management skills. Keen eye for details on quote specifications.  Ability to negotiate costs and terms with vendors and stakeholders.  Able to work with a wide variety of people and establish/maintain successful business relationships. 
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively.
