Vendor Manager

Job Description

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead pricing discussions and vendor agreements,
  • Partner on the development/execution of vendor management strategy, including planning and location strategy,
  • Drive supplier performance and meet/exceed performance goals,
  • Manage the relationships with vendor teams to drive quality, cost optimization, and productivity improvement programs,
  • Review contractual performance of vendors under respective agreements to ensure compliance with terms and to identify conflicts or changes requiring resolution at contract renewal,
  • PO generation and contract assurance for all projects.

Role requirements:

  • Experience managing vendor operations including pricing discussions, agreements,
  • Good influencing and relationship building skills, excellent negotiation skills,
  • Being able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a pressurized environment and work proactively to ensure project milestones are met,
  • Excellent command of English (both verbal and written),
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
