About Traditional Trade Reinvention (TTR) Program

You’ll be at the heart of strategic goal setting in one of the most important programs NielsenIQ has today, which is Traditional trade reinvention (TTR). 

TTR is leading the path to the future of measurement. The objective is to digitize our sample, which is the next step in our Digital Journey, in order to provide best in class market measurement by leveraging our expertise and Technology. 

In this role, you’ll lead the definition and execution of the product evolution roadmap enabled by data digitization in the traditional trade channel for the Retail Index product at regional level and will collaborate with a team of data science, operations, and commercial leaders to define new products/product enhancements and generate/maintain detailed requirements to ensure the product meets evolving client and industry needs. Therefore, you’ll be leading the enhancement of our core & new products that bring NielsenIQ’s data to the center of the decisions our clients make every day. 


Responsibilities

  • Own the creation, execution and communication of product roadmap by country in the region in alignment with Product Measurement leader, Commercial and Operations. 

  • Partnering with TTR Product transformation team to ensure client’s voice and specific needs are included in the global product definitions. 

  • Identify coverage (new channels) or granularity opportunities based non TTR data availability 

  • Support Globl G13 client RFPs (when TTR implications are present) 

  • Work with a cross-functional team spanning Operations, Data Science, Communications, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and more to plan, build, and deploy new products and core TTR enhancements.  

  • Partner with program management teams to manage the enhancement backlog, prioritization of enhancements, value vs. complexity tradeoffs, and cross-functional dependencies/risks. 

  • Engage with clients to understand product requirements and opportunities 

  • Establish product roadmap and go to market plan in alignment with global product development priorities   

  • Perform industry research, competitive analysis, gather competitor intelligence at local market level and consider the overall NielsenIQ company strategy that will contribute when making product decisions.  

  • Portfolio optimization - prune the tree to let the branches grow 


Requirements

  • Degrees in business administration, business management, economy, Product management, Data Science or related fields. 

  • 5+ years relevant experience in the product management, leadership environment. 

  • Demonstrated ability to design, build, deploy, and maintain products in a large corporate environment.  

  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, both verbal and written.  

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including the ability to exert influence across cross-functional teams in a highly-matrixed environment without formal authority. 

  • Ability to synthesize and communicate complex information in simple terminology. Experience communicating complex information between business/client-facing teams and technical teams.  

  • History of collaborating with technical teams to solve ambiguous business problems.  

  • Ability to influence effectively at all levels of the organization by tailoring communication to any given stakeholder group as needed. 

  • Ability to capture business requirements and specifications clearly and concisely in a manner that can be interpreted by technical teams. 

  • Strong analytical aptitude and a demonstrated history of using data and insights to guide product decisions.  

  • Familiarity with basic financial concepts and financial planning/budgeting experience. 

  • Solid understanding of CPG/FMCG Industry and Retail market impact on client’s business within the assigned markets
