Job Description:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a sales person who has prior experience generating new revenue from existing clients. The Commercial Executive combines knowledge of the FMCG industry and a deep understanding of Nielsen products and services. You will be responsible for aligning key customer priorities and insights back to Nielsen’s capabilities, identifying & converting opportunities to deepen commercial relationships and drive additional revenue.

You will be responsible for owning the commercial relationship with the clients, delivering on the revenue plans by negotiating the renewal of continuous services whilst identifying opportunities to meet growth targets. You will develop effective relationships between individuals and teams both internally and at clients, to provide best in class Nielsen / client commercial partnerships.

You'll devise a strategic approach for developing a group of clients through agile and flexible solutions that deliver value to our clients in a profitable way. We are looking for someone who is ready to drive positive change, challenge wider business process and be fully driven by achieving success with the support of the wider industry team.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Sales or Account Management
  • A proven ability to generate business across a portfolio of existing clients
  • An understanding of the issues facing FMCG manufacturer and retailers

We launched a data platform for SMB clients in May 2020. Already, 240 small and medium food manufacturers, brands, and suppliers to the sector have subscribed. Full time. Hybrid working (team days in the Oxford HQ 2-4 per month, then you are welcome as many days on top).
