CLIENT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Brandbank Commercial team - Houten office
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a business development manager that will mainly focus on expanding our footprint across the retail Benelux industry. As a real expert within the content enrichment industry, you will spot the potential opportunities within the region and act as a key business advisor, transforming the clients challenges into business opportunities and working with pre-sales, commercial, and marketing team to deliver the customer required solution.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable influencing senior external stakeholders, strong sales skills, a track record of using data and tools to drive business growth, and be comfortable with owning their own diary.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing a full understanding of the Nielsen Brandbank value proposition (both related to core service and additional software products), in order to identify opportunities within the industry, and to develop a pipeline of opportunities
- Collaboration with commercial, marketing, and sales enablement teams develop a pipeline of potential opportunities through existing contacts, marketing campaigns, and cold contact.
- Log activities frequently and consistently in Salesforce
- Building a rapport with your prospects base, frequently contacting them to understand their service requirements and identify potential areas where Nielsen Brandbank can further support their business objectives.
- Being always curious and Maintaining a strong understanding of the digital content industry
- Taking ownership for the full sales cycle with support of the pre-sales & marketing team

You are an opportunity magnet that can identify and implement up-selling additional services at every opportunity and you are willing to obtain feedback from customers regarding potential product enhancements and new service opportunities. You enjoy following up and adapting proposals to win new revenue through our service offerings, understanding what adjustments need to occur to safeguard the service/revenue stream. You have strong consultative skills and always try to find ways to generate additional value to your customers by suggesting process improvement and new way of working
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor or University degree in Business Administration or Marketing Affinity for e-business & e-commerce or the FMCG sector
Experience in business development, strategic sales planning and implementation, including experience of pipeline management
Demonstrated success interacting with people via digital channels, leading, persuading and overcoming obstacles associated with prospecting
An ability to present at Executive Level and below, controlling meetings to achieve your desired outcome
Ability to remain calm under pressure and balance immediate, short–term priorities and longer-term opportunities
Organized and able to apply good time management
Self-motivated, proactive, organized, and outcome-oriented
Excellent written and spoken Dutch & English, business level of French is a plus
