Job Description

As an Associate Director, Digital Intelligence, you will utilize your experience of consumer insights and understanding of social media ecosystem to decode data from various sources (offline/online) and derive actionable consumer insights that address business questions.

The role requires you to lead a dynamic team of junior and mid-level researchers (comprising managers and executives) to manage and execute market research studies utilizing social media and online data for our local and global clients.

You should be recognized as having an expertise in market research. Well-versed and hands-on experience across various market research solutions and statistical modelling techniques along with an understanding of the social media and online data ecosystem (collection, analysis, and insights).  

Responsibilities

  • Manage execution and delivery of global Digital Intelligence projects using social media and online data by compiling, analyzing, and interpreting data & generating client reports and presentations.
  • Translate data to insights, create compelling stories and powerful synthesis of findings to drive high impact business decisions through insightful and actionable recommendations.
  • Build and present effective analytical presentations and consultative storytelling to clients including C-suite management.
  • Manage usage of tools, platform and vendors for effective delivery.
  • To participate / collaborate with the sales team in pitches, sales, responding to RFPs across markets (depending on bandwidth available). Be an active business developer in generating opportunities with both new and existing clients. 
  • Be accountable for the team's financial KPIs (both revenue and margin); continuously monitor actual versus budgeted performance and make interventions if needed.  
  • Fluency in financial processes and in compliance with Nielsen IQ financial strategy and KPIs.  
  • Retain, assess, manage, and develop talents including setting performance objectives and provide on-going feedback.  
  • Good team resource management leading to on-time delivery & meeting quality expectations.
  • Inspiring the team and building good team culture with active engagement in driving team spirit.  Actively seek opportunities to create team diversity in background, opinion, and mindset.  

Qualifications

  • We are looking for someone who is curious, tech savvy and in sync with trending topics on the digital medium.  
  • Min 10+ years of experience with a Social Media Analytics Company or a Market Research agency / organization and has dealt with executing and managing multi country market research studies.
  • People having managed studies with social media analysis or have worked on brands social media performance, communication and content, as well as generating insights from social media data will be preferred.
  • Perfect in managing international level stakeholders and internal team resources as well.
  • Proficient in external vendor management as and when required.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Post-Graduate Degree in related subjects or MBA or Graduate degree in engineering.

Preferred skills

  • Has a working knowledge of any of the following Google Analytics, FB insights, Instagram Analytics, Twitter Analytics, Adobe, Hubspot
  • Has worked on at least 1-2 Social Media platforms: e.g. Talkwalker, Sprinklr, Crimson Hexagon, Meltwater, Synthesio, Brandwatch, Netbase, Sysomos
  • Experience with search and website analytics would be an added advantage
  • Experience with reviews /ecommerce analytics would be an added advantage
  • Awareness of visualization tools like Power BI/ Tableau integration to social media platforms would be an added advantage
