Job Description

The Senior Client Development Consultant has an appreciation of industry and NielsenIQ products and services as well as a good understanding of the value those products and services bring to our clients. Responsible for listening to, discovering and understanding client needs to identify sales opportunities and leveraging NielsenIQ’s unique value proposition. Expected to proactively build a valuable network both internally and externally. This individual will be responsible for a portfolio of clients in the Global Business Solutions team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and maintain strong networking and engagement with key players (internally and with clients)
  • Understand NielsenIQ’s Global Business Solutions products, how to price and the process we use
  • Identify client needs, prepare proposals and convert opportunities into sales
  • Actively contribute to business planning process (financial targets, proposal submission, revenue on hand, pipeline)
  • Understand industry trends and seeks to learn best practices adopted by peer companies
  • Respond to requests for proposals
  • Work continuously and collaboratively with international NielsenIQ teams
  • Ensure that client plans and projects are developed and implemented

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a relevant account management function and/or with appreciation of NielsenIQ products, services and data
  • Very strong business English (French/German/Spanish/Italian languages are a plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of the client’s needs
  • Understanding of financial terminology and how this relates to business success
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Effective time and project management skills
  • Pro-active, sense of responsibility and can work independently
  • Strong sales drive, persistence
  • Team player spirit
