Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
The project management role is responsible for managing all aspects of project activities to ensure that projects are completed within established budgets, parameters and schedule, making sure we deliver & exceed expectation and delight clients. The ideal candidate should have extensive project management experience as well as solid operational knowledge in market research industry and have excellent client, field/vendor relations skills including supervision, negotiating and follow-up.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for the following:
Project setup:
Prepare high quality fielding materials and instructions
Establish and facilitate regular project meetings and discuss with commercial to collect and analyze their business requirements and transfer to accurate specifications
Provide fieldwork briefing and training to field team/vendors to clarify project specification and requirements
Work closely with field team/vendors and online panel suppliers to ascertain their capacity and capability level and allocate resources to meet project requirements
Thoroughly check questionnaire, survey link is working and coordinates any rectification with commercial and programmer
Field Execution:
Monitor the productivity and progress by driving fieldwork team and/or external vendors to meet project timeline according to planned schedule
Monitor respondent quotas are targeted and achieved, tracking and advising on quality of responses and data
Ensure timely response to any queries from QC, CS or client
Work closely with QC team if there is any quality validation required
Ensure all the project material/product/concept and storage are handled confidentially
Manage and track project budget and variance
Project Closure:
Deliver timely project summary reports and performance dashboard
Calculate and proceed payment with vendors or online suppliers
Ensure all the project material/product/concept are disposed of confidentially
Project Management:
Drawing up project plans and timeline
Managing workflow and monitor project progress
Conducting briefings and monitor quality in line with NielsenIQ’s standards and market research code of ethics
Maintaining documents, forms and folders
Time & Cost Management:
Design project schedule to align resource allocation and timeline
Document project life cycle cost information for use in controlling expenditures
Manage change requests to minimise impact to cost and execution
Analyse changes in project design to determine cost impact
Escalate change request to higher level for review and approval before implementing change
Relationships Management:
Maintaining internal and external communications, including regularly updating project progress and building trust with all stakeholders
Be the point of liaison between Client, Commercial and Operations colleagues
Establishing partnerships with vendors and encourage continuous improvement by providing vendors with timely, constructive feedback and necessary support to ensure high quality and timely delivery
Compliance:
Manage, maintain and dispose of all project materials and documentation according to company SOP manual
Fully comply with data security and privacy policy to protect personal individual-level data as well as client provided name list
Work with fieldwork team and external vendors to assure the process adherence to company SOP as well as meeting country policies & regulations
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree is required from an accredited college or university
Fresh graduate or 6 months to a year experience working in a market research environment
A solid understanding of the principles of market research
Good English communication skills
Strong organizational skills, with an eye for detail and a conscientious attitude towards delivering with quality, on time and within budget
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and sound leadership qualities
Motivated by efficiency and a strive for delivering continuous, highest possible quality
An aptitude and ability to work with a wide variety of people
An interest and strong understanding of client management
Real desire to develop a pivotal role in the business
