Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

 
To supervise the Data Operations team, ensuring products flow through the business efficiently. Dealing with all queries about our process whether internal or external, including liaising between the Accounts, Warehouse, IT, Imaging and Commercial teams. 

 
Key Tasks include:   
 

  • Managing Data Workflow 
  • Making sure the complete data entry and quality check process is conducted in the optimum order to maintain 5 days turnaround and reduce the number of errors being sent to the approval 
  • Monitoring the number of products  
  • Working with Operations Manager to ensure other functions are aligned within the process 
  • Dealing with customer rejections 
  • Processing rejections through the rejection site 
  • Distributing rejections to the appropriate member of staff 
  • Dealing with any customer queries relating to the data entry process via email or over the phone 
  • Explaining the Data Entry process to both suppliers and other internal teams and providing solutions to problems where our system/rules limit us from completing their request 
  • Managing Urgent Batches to make sure they are processed in the required time 
  • Liaising with the Imaging team to make sure that images are processed by the required date 
  • Informing the Commercial team of any issues with this process and how it could be fixed 
  • Conducting HR functions 
  • Processing and managing holidays 
  • Recording and reporting Sickness/Absenteeism  
  • Working with the Data Quality team to ensure all processes are working  efficiently 
  • Managing of Data Operations Team 
  • Ensuring all members of the Data Operations team are performing to a high standard 
  • Reviewing and assessing their performance 
  • Help to identify and trends which might point to a problem in the business process or rule set 
  • Any other tasks as required 

 

Skill Base Required: 

 

  • Fluent French/Dutch and English skills 
  • Experience in supervising groups of people 
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent understanding of the business process
  • excellent communication skills and the ability to manage workflows efficiently 
  • Mature attitude and attention to detail are essential
