Job Description

This role is required to visit vendors/retailers/outlets as per instructions already provided and to count stocks on shelves and within outlets’ warehouse, as well as obtain accurate purchases of all the brands included in the covered product categories.

Collect periodic market research information in the retail channel (neighborhood stores, minimarket, supermarkets, pharmacies, etc.) through an electronic device that allows accurate and truthful information to be obtained, complying with the policies and standards of quality required.

  • Visit points of sales and retail outlets as set on his/her given schedule within defined timelines
  • Collect data/information in compliance with Global and/ or Regional SOP standards
  • Work towards the timely delivery of data as required and per set deadlines
  • Communicate timely changes of visit plan to QCT Executive or COE
  • Inform QCT Executive of any potential cooperation issues (ownership change, renovation, refusal of cooperation etc.)
  • Always works with integrity and accuracy on data delivery and ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards (Panel Security)
  • Work towards continuously building and improving the relationship with the shopkeeper
  • Maintain proper administrative records as required
  • Collect data/information as per instructing in our Monthly Auditor's trip instruction (e.q. adhoc project, initiative moving from cash dealer fee to non-cash dealer fee, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience in retail or other market environment (fresh graduates are welcome if candidate is eager to learn, training is provided)
  • Familiar with smart phones and gadgets
  • Comfortable working with data and numbers as well as collecting and reporting information
  • Basic English required; Chinese language is advantage (easier to communicate with retail stores owners / staffs who are elderly Chinese)
  • Willing and able to interact with people for several hours, as needed, regardless of the location or condition of the environment.
  • Willing and able to spend several hours in various lighting conditions including but not limited to low light and fluorescent light and complete work both via paper and/or on a smart phone.
