Job Description

The project management role is responsible for managing all aspects of field activities to ensure that projects are completed within established budgets, parameters and schedules, proactively identifying the potential operational risks with a mitigation plan in place, making sure we deliver & exceed expectations and delight clients. This role also provides support, recognition, and feedback to assist employees to achieve their performance standards and delivering on the expectation 

The ideal candidate should have extensive project management experience as well as solid operational knowledge in the market research industry and have excellent field/vendor relations skills including supervision, negotiating and follow-up.

Responsibilities
●       Prepare high-quality fielding materials & instructions.
●       Establish and facilitate regular project meetings and discussions with commercials to collect and analyze their business requirements and transfer them to accurate specifications.
●       Provide fieldwork briefing to vendors to clarify project specifications and requirements.
●       Work closely with other team/vendors and online panel suppliers to ascertain their capacity & capability level and allocate resources to meet project requirements.
●       Thoroughly check questionnaire, survey link is working and coordinates any rectification with commercial and programmer.
●       Monitor the productivity and progress by driving the fieldwork or external vendors to meet the project timeline according to the planned schedule.
●       Monitor respondent quotas are targeted and achieved, tracking, and advising on the quality of responses and data.
●       Ensure timely response to any queries from CS, or client.
●       Manage and track project budget and variance.
●       Thoroughly check data (in SPSS or Q) and liaise the data table specification with the DP team to assist in table preparation. 
●       Deliver timely project summary reports and other deliverables.

Time Management 
●       Design project schedule to align resource allocation and timeline.
 
Quality Management
●       Conduct fieldwork observation/accompaniment when required and address vendor issues to help the team to implement corrective actions so they are consistent with quality standards.
 
Risk Management 
●       Proactively identify and manage the resolution of risks and issues that may negatively impact a project deliverable.
●       Seek and implements innovative ways to remove project obstacles.
●       Escalate project issues and risks as appropriate. 

Communications
●      Document, share and leverages project lessons learned and promote best practices for continuous improvement. 
●       Facilitate strong cross-functional communication by building strong working relationships across departments. 
●       Perform consulting roles for operations where relevant to both internal and external client 

Compliance 
●       Work with fieldwork team and external vendors/suppliers to assure the process adherence to company SOP as well as meeting country policies & regulations. 
●       Ensure that all internal systems and documentation are appropriately updated in a timely manner. 
 
People Management  
●       Establish high standards of performance and hold associates firmly accountable for meeting those standards.
●       Provide support, recognition, and feedback to assist employees to achieve their performance standards. 
●       Act as coach, guide, and mentor to address professional development goals and needs of direct reports; [when applicable]
●       Ensure proper dissemination of information and implementation of company rules, regulations, policies, and procedures gave the widespread of operation associates; 
 

Qualifications

●      Bachelor’s Degree (Major in Statistics, Computer Science, or Information Technology) is required from an accredited college or university

●      Experience: 5 years or more project management or project delivery relevant experience in market research is preferable, proven record in process improvement area will be competitive  

●      Functional & Technical Skills: Understand project management process in the market research industry; knowledge of programming & reporting tools like Decipher, Statistical software like Q, SPSS, Excel Macro would be ideal, and knowledge of statistical analysis (sampling/weighting) would be beneficial

 ●      Strategic & Commercial Thinking: Ability to understand business/function strategy and finds a way to improve profitability

●      Decision Making: Ability to make decisions based on a good understanding of own area

●      Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Ability to contribute ideas and actively involve self in brainstorming among multiple sources
