We are currently searching for a Lead for our Revenue Growth Management team in South Africa

You will build relationships with the key client stakeholders from some of the largest FMCG companies, helping them to make the right choices for their price and promo strategy, considering the impact on sales and P&L.

You will coordinate cross category projects; drives initiatives that aim at improving client experience; manages and shares client specific knowledge and standards.

You will manage the Price and Promo projects, working together with the executive teams, analyzing the outputs of the projects, and providing insightful price and promo recommendations.

Your insights will influence decisions for some of today’s leading global companies. You will have the opportunity to be part of the Price & Promotion NielsenIQ service transformation.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Work as a Team Leader of an international project team that helps our FMCG clients optimize their pricing and promotion activities

● Be the client face in the most strategical projects of the team

● To convert analytical results into a business-focused and actionable client report

● To deliver insights and recommendations to the client during formal or informal meetings

● Lead a team of consultants and manage their needs in an effective way

● Taking responsibility for the quality of the delivery of projects sold by the sales team

● Assign and manage workload prioritization for the team and clients

● Train and advise consultants from across teams on processes and best practices

● Use Nielsen tools and methodologies to build answers to business questions based on the market data and revenue management analysis

● Streamlining processes both within your team and other stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

● 5 or more years of experience in a similar position/ business area.

● Previous experience in FMCG sector, preferably revenue growth management, pricing, key account/category management, trade marketing, in which price, promo and revenue management figures are familiar variables.

● Focused on helping the client win in the market & being passionate on supporting client needs

● High level of business relationship skills.

● Strong analytical mindset and excellent numerical skills.

● Strong communication & visualization skills – interested in storytelling techniques.

● Strong record of working closely with both internal and external clients

● Comfortable working in a digital-enabled environment.

● Experience working with PowerBI would be an asset.

● Passionate about managing & developing employees

● Strong organizational & interpersonal skills.

● University degree or equivalent experience.
