ABOUT THE JOB

At NielsenIQ, Account Managers are known as trusted partners to their clients and industry experts to their colleagues. In this role you will be nurturing relationships with large FMCG clients in the field of Intelligent Analytics in order to achieve the planned revenue, profit, profitability and customer satisfaction. This will also involve contract negotiations with the aim of expanding cooperation to new services. You will further enhance your communication and analysis skills, by delivering data insights and recommendations to clients on a regular basis.


RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Independently sell Analytics services, successfully assess the needs of the clients and proactively offer solutions.
  • Business development to achieve targeted team’s objectives (financial and commercials).
  • Support Analytics Manager on level of engagement with clients and secure customer satisfaction by supporting clients through answering their concerns and questions and through on-site / off-site client consultancy work.
  • Execute the Analytics business plan as well as proactively search for opportunities on the market, make suggestions for improvement, gather client requirements from commercial teams.
  • Participate in the preparation of sales plans and budgets for respective markets.
  • Collaborate with other departments in NielsenIQ.
  • Sell Spaceman merchandising software to the clients, provide training, and coordinate technical support.
     

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • min. 2 years of experience within FMCG (Trade Marketing, Key Account Management, Merchandising, Category Management, etc.)
  • Previous experience in analytical role will be an asset
  • Consultative, sales-oriented profile able to work towards sales targets
  • Excellent business, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Exceptional ability for market / category analysis
  • Intellectual curiosity and persistence to find answers to questions
  • Ability to autonomously manage simultaneous projects in a fast-paced business environment
  • Strong sense of urgency & accountability to drive client outcomes
  • Able to work collaboratively with internal & external teams
  • Excellent command of both written and oral English as well as Latvian language (Estonian and Russian languages are a plus)
