NielsenIQ is defined by a strong sales culture, and sales incentive programs are foundational for success.  We are seeking a results-oriented individual to lead our global sales compensation strategy and execution, supporting our sellers on NielsenIQ’s mission to accelerate growth.  

 

The Global Sales Compensation VP will lead sales incentive plan design, implementation and review in support of more than 4,000 NielsenIQ sellers globally.  As a critical partner to both Finance and HR, this leader will play a significant role in quota setting, total seller compensation modeling, market-level sales incentive plan management, and execution of seller payments.  As a member of the Global Revenue Operations leadership team, this leader will also have accountability for driving our sales transformation initiatives, designed to accelerate NielsenIQ’s market position and elevate NielsenIQ associates’ experience. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Design, document and implement globally scalable, data-driven sales incentive programs that reward for performance and drive retention 

  • Oversee sales incentive plan administration, including program rules, policies and procedures  

  • Advocate for sellers while balancing profitability and equitable plan design 

  • Partner closely with HR, Finance, Corporate Compensation and Sales Operations leaders in support of a modern sales organization and strong sales compensation 

  • Build collaborative relationships with Sales leaders to drive advocacy for incentive programs, gather feedback on plan design and adjust strategy when needed 

  • Bring best practices forward, including assisting with change management and education, in support of a modern sales culture 

  • Prioritize, coordinate and manage initiatives strategically to deliver on time and on budget 

  • Work in an agile, fast-paced environment, executing with efficiency and accuracy 

  • Operate as a change agent to drive transformation in a rapidly changing environment 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Experience designing and executing compensation strategies on a global scale  
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in total compensation and rewards in a business-to-business sales environment 

  • Minimum 3 years in a sales, sales operations or strategic management role  

  • Proven executive presence, including strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Critical influencing skills to achieve alignment on initiatives, and a high say/do ratio to ensure commitments are met
