Job Description

Tech Support Specialist (with French Language)

This is an exciting and dynamic client-facing opportunity to work in the Nielsen Global Helpline team providing technical & instructional support for NielsenIQ clients. As a Support Specialist you will support multiple NielsenIQ proprietary applications by troubleshooting Client reported technology issues and providing resolutions in a timely manner or escalating as appropriate. You will have an opportunity to actively participate in beginner & intermediate training courses and product-related meetings. It's a good development opportunity if you are tech-savvy and just as comfortable behind a computer screen as you are in front of colleagues and customers!

Qualifications

What you’ll do

●Using designated case management tools, respond to and resolve reported issues to in-house DB and Reporting applications (online vs desktop) to provide world-class technical support for external as well as internal clients

●Respond to inquiries promptly, with empathy, using established department guidelines

●Assume remote control over client users' computers when necessary to resolve problems

●Effectively utilize established escalation procedures in a professional manner

●Actively participate in training sessions and apply the concepts learned

●Create documentation, when requested, to be incorporated into a knowledge base tool

●Deliver ideas, concerns, and suggestions to promote process and quality

Additional Information

We’re looking for people who have

●Excellent English and French communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface across cross-functional technology teams and the business

●Positive customer service attitude and skills that demonstrate appropriate empathy

●First commercial experience in IT related fields

●Technical aptitude and an inquisitive mind to learn new technologies independently

●Ability to function independently as well as within a team structure.

●Bachelor's, technical degree, or equivalent experience.
