About the job
The ICON Center of Excellence Leader will provide leadership for the Consumer Insights experts in the CoE. As the leader of the ICON CoE, you will be the driving force in leading our team to promote, develop, grow, and deliver our best-in-class analytics and lay the foundations for future business growth. 


Responsibilities   

  • Leading the transformation of the ICON HUB into a world-class Center of Excellence to support the global Consumer Insights business
  • Operate with mindset towards continuous improvement to develop and deploy solutions which allow for improved productivity and utilization of technology/tools to streamline work and resource allocation
  • Provides governance and strategy for the CoE  
  • Works with human resources to organize job families and skills required for ICON CoE roles, build the training plans, career paths, etc.
  • •Defines the mechanism for measuring the ICON CoE  against defined objectives including how progress is tracked and benchmarked
  • Defines procedures, standards, and processes to cover all areas of ICON CoE scope
  • Possess the ability to recruit, lead, develop and engage a high-performing team of Consumer Insights experts 
  • Provide guidance to the team and contribute to areas of expertise / senior thought leadership & client leadership

 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in research and analytics with working Consumer Insights knowledge. The ideal candidate should also possess, at a minimum, the following qualifications, and attributes: 

 

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience with a significant record of accomplishment of success in leading high performing teams
  •  Demonstrates strong leadership, and strategic thinking, preferred experience in either in building organizational capabilities such as lean operations or project or talent management
  • Can build solid working relationships with business partners
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to manage numerous stakeholders
  • Experience working in a virtual environment, including onshore / local market-based team members
  • Familiar with Project Management processes and procedures
  • Experience with business financial management, compliance, regulatory requirements, and change management 
  • Experience in negotiation and conflict management
  • Lean principles applied throughout organization
  • Action-oriented, Analytical thinker
