ABOUT THIS JOB

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will work closely with the Director of Product Marketing, product leadership, sales, and other marketing functions to drive go-to-market strategies for products in NielsenIQ.

This position plays a significant role in successfully launching products in partnership with product leadership, by developing clear go-to-market plans, creating compelling messaging, and supporting the development of impactful content. This is a highly visible role and you will have the opportunity to influence various stakeholders and bring to market NielsenIQ’s major product initiatives within International Markets.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges early in the product development discovery phase

● Collect information to understand the specifics of each market

● Use segmentation and develop personas to identify the target audience and inform positioning and messaging

● Performs buyer research and consumer testing to validate ideas and assumptions

● Collaborate closely with Product to define the products’ value proposition

● Create product positioning and a narrative that resonates with our buyers based on buyer needs and each market's competitive environment

● Collaborate with product, sales and marketing teams to develop the go-to-market strategy for products

● Develop clear benefit-based messaging to support all product-related materials and sales collaterals

● Partner with sales to deliver sales training and ensure sales toolkit is adopted

● Partner with demand generation teams to build demand for product; create joint KPIs and metrics to support launch, delivery and optimization of product launch

● Lead the product naming process aligned to the NielsenIQ brand and recommendations provided by the legal team;

● Monitor the competitive landscape and identify moves in the market that create opportunities or impact the existing product performance

● Partner with the regional M&C leadership team to ensure one clear and consistent end-to-end marketing reporting system

● Partner with with the Product team to assess the products’ performance and adjust positioning and messaging to achieve product-market fit

● Regularly revisit customer needs and competitive landscape to drive product refinements

You are excited by generating and adopting new ways of working and you are not afraid of taking risks.

 

Qualifications

● Bachelor's Degree

● 5+ years of experience in B2B Product Marketing; previous Product Management experience is a requirement

● Impeccable writing skills and storytelling, with the ability to simplify complex information

● Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills

● Ability to work collaboratively across many teams to achieve a common goal

● Experience working with and launching SaaS products (preferred)

● Understanding of FMCG industry and FMCG market research (preferred)
