Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Execute sample design, data validation, universe estimation, universe update, and panel sample design, as per the plan and with no quality escapes for the assigned country/ countries.
  • Learn and utilize the global tools to ensure standardization of process
  • Work with Input Operations in the deployment of their tools
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the country/ cluster through various planned initiatives/ activities
  • Develop expertise on the base product, the processes, and tools
  • Contribute to creating best practices for the country/ cluster/ region and sharing them with other GDDC centers
  • Engage with SMEs on new methodology and new tools
  • Be actively engaged and participate in engagement activities of the team

About you

 

You’ve dabbled in data. You’ve perused Python or R. And you have the communication chops to translate it all into conversation or presentations. While you’ve worked with global cross-functional teams, you can also put your head down and focus on independent projects. Seeing the big picture takes attention to detail. Keeping up with the fast-changing world of digital media measurement takes someone who recognizes that. You know what’s happening in big data and you’re ready to influence what’s next.

Qualifications

  • Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Candidate from Statistics, Operations Research, or Econometrics with outstanding analytical expertise will be an ideal
  • Domain expertise in at least one area: Demography, Sampling, Statistics Modeling, Survey Design Practices.
  • Proficient in Python, R, SAS, SPSS, or other statistical packages.
  • Knowledge of SQL, working with Algorithms, and large-scale databases (added advantage)
  • Working knowledge with data visualization tools (e.g. Spotfire, Tableau, etc.) and mapping tools would be plus
  • Working knowledge with collaboration tools like Atlassian, Git, Bitbucket, and Confluence would be a plus
  • Experience in some of the statistical modeling, variance estimation, trend analyses, indirect estimation, data aggregation techniques, automation, generalization.
  • 1-2 years of work experience in the survey research industry with hands-on experience in developing and executing survey research methodologies (Not a must)
