At NielsenIQ’s BASES team, we use our data to help our clients answer questions like:

  • What products should I launch next?
  • How can I optimise my product offering?
  • What are the ROIs of these potential launches?
  • How does the launch impact my competitors?

Responsibilities

  • Review data for errors and inconsistencies
  • Summarise data for the production of tables, charts, and graphs
  • Prepare inputs and run forecasting models
  • Develop preliminary forecast summaries
  • Analyse sales data
  • Analyse study results to draft emails, reports, and presentations
  • Prepare initial client correspondence
  • Attend client meetings and presentations
  • Participate in research proposal and design

As an Innovation Market Research Analyst, you will help multinational FMCG companies across geographies decide how best to innovate their products and optimise their profit.

Qualifications

  • 1 year relevant experience in Market Research or similar preferred
  • Interest in marketing (particularly consumer product marketing) and research
  • A curious and open mind
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication
  • Excellent organisation and time-management, and the ability to multitask
  • Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion, sensitivity and care
  • Experience with consumer marketing, statistics, research techniques, and experimental designs (preferred)
  • Experience with the Microsoft tools and programs including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Teams (preferred)
