INDEX Analyst

The INDEX analyst will be responsible for controlling, analyzing and documenting what is most important to NielsenIQ, the quality of data reported to its clients. In this role, the Index analyst will perform prior analysis of data collected by the field team, control non-compliances, and if necessary, implement action and control plans to reduce and eradicate quality issues.

The role requires an ability to work with large databases and the ability to analyze and interpret results following our methodology. In addition, the person will need to clearly and objectively document all these processes on our unique platform. It is also part of the Index analyst function, to support the internal operating areas, mainly with daily field execution flows, understanding that this audience is also an important customer in their daily work routine.

Responsibilities

·   Analyze the data collected by the field team and map possible quality issues;

·   Control documentation on these quality issues and monitor the completion of 5W2H;

·   Monitor the implementation of an action plan, when we have a non-compliance;

·   Update the NielsenIQ internal system with these non-conformities;

·   Monitor production flows of ad hoc studies;

·   Validate variables collected in ad hoc studies;

·   Ensure the delivery of ad hoc study databases, validated and within the deadline set by the requesting area;

·   Be the point of contact between the areas regarding quality control issues, maintaining a good relationship with these teams;

·    Work extensive databases, seeking to optimize analysis and update the results to the leadership team.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor's Degree or technical institute degree/certificate or equivalent work experience

·       Extensive knowledge in Power BI;

·       Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office aplication (including Access);

·       Intermediate knowledge of programming in R or Python for data analysis;

·       Intermediate english skills  

·       Be communicative for interaction with all different areas and levels of NielsenIQ;

·       Ability to translate complex databases into insights to the management team.
