Senior Client Development Executive

Objective


To develop trusted advisor relationships with clients to elevate the role of the Nielsen Innovation Practice
within the client business industries.
To drive adoption of the end to end Innovation Practice system in order to achieve profitable growth and
related business targets in line with business strategy through opening business through categories outside of
consumer packaged goods markets.

Position Description

Responsible for creating and applying a solid sales prospecting plan to attract clients from durables categories
such as technology, home appliances, gaming, direct sales, automotive,fashion, clothing, etc., in order to start
conversation and consultancy about innovation, brand and product renovation and portfolio management
services.
 

Accountabilities

- Establish self as embedded strategic partner with clients, focused on full innovation system and fully
supportive of initiatives from early stages to activation.
- Responsible for revenue targets and understanding of profit growth and contribution targets.
- Leads client meetings at all management levels, including conducting external presentations.
- Initiates programs to build client satisfaction and further develop the business, by initiating meetings with
new client contacts .
- Designs and estimates costs of new projects.
- Establishes high standards of client deliverable, provides support, recognition and feedback to develop
associates and support a strong team environment focused on exceeding internal and external client
requirements.
- Handles sensitive client discussions.
- Develops understanding of industry trends, competition and opportunities for Nielsen.
- Identify areas of opportunity and growth for the Practice in terms of new business development.
- Be able to adapt and customize NielsenIQ BASES solutions in order to meet client and industry requirements,
being involved in multidisciplinary teams to guarantee high quality and consultancy.

Qualifications


- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing/research/Innovation/sales or a related field.
- Knowledge of marketing research and in-market data.
- Knowledge and/or passion of/for the durable categories.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- General knowledge of statistics, research techniques, and experimental procedures.
- Customer service and consultation skills.
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Account management.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a digital enabled environment with an regional and international teams
