NielsenIQ's Product Leadership develops and drives forward the product strategy for our trusted Nielsen data. We define the market opportunities that shape our products that clients use to make strategic business decisions. We are on a journey to transform and modernize the way we measure online consumption.

In this role, you will prioritize, define and then build the solutions that will embed Nielsen data and analytics into persona based user applications. You’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team of leaders to define the future of our measurement solutions and generate / maintain detailed requirements to ensure NIQ meets evolving client and industry needs.

What you’ll do: 

  • Lead all product related and methods related aspects of store owner self-collection solution through MyStore app, including:
  • Definition, testing and implementation of store owner engagement and incentive model (incl. gamification)
  • Definition of data content and collection methods
  • Data quality assessment rules and methods
  • Data impacts evaluation criteria and methods
  • Partners with global stakeholders to advise on product and methodological considerations
  • Implements new methodology and KPIs
  • Serves as technical lead for the BAU methodology enhancements
  • Leads team of data scientists dedicated to a project and ensure delivery on time and per spec
  • Partners with DA Solutions team to understand the needs/concerns and identify and design appropriate methods and approaches to solutions

We’re looking for people who have: 

  • Passion for the digital disruption, holistic knowledge of the ecosystem
  • Deep understanding of eCommerce Leaders’ mindsets, objectives and constraints, both at retailers and manufacturers
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Statistics, or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a Product role with prior experience in a Technology or Data Science role 
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to interface with clients and influence key stakeholders
  • Able to lead the ideation on new challenges while simultaneously diving into the details
  • Able to express a point of view on the client benefits for your products and services and the value to Nielsen, connecting them to the design principles and articulating them to others
  • Strong ability to present information in the simplest and most compelling way
  • Good understanding of technical concepts, services and implementations

Desired Skills: 

  • Experience in FMCG and/or Retail industry is a plus
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and flexible environment where no two days are the same
  • Enjoys working in the gray or unknown - defining the undefined, challenging the status quo, and solving uncharted business challenges 
  • Passion for using data to inform decisions and to advocate for our users
