Associate Client Director, Retail Analytics

As an Associate Client Director - Retail Analytics, you will be responsible for identifying and crafting business-led solutions by working collaboratively with Professional Services teams across the Regional Accounts client base. Typical client engagements require you to lead meetings to help scope creative solutions to business issues, manage completion of projects, and deliver best in class analytic-insights through storytelling.  You must have the ability to bridge the "language gap" between clients, client service, product, and the technical aspects of our operation.  Key responsibilities include: 

  • Acting as the client services lead with client merchandising and analytics stakeholders from Category Management, Pricing, Promotion and Assortment teams to establish and manage deliverables
  • Leading integrated analyses in support of client's strategic initiatives. Present analyses to senior level client contacts complete with actionable insights and recommendations for the client's business.
  • Proactively providing subject matter expertise to client in support of strategic client business issues including Homescan, Spectra, Pricing, Promotion and Assortment.
  • Maintaining and building productive business relationships with key client contacts
  • Collaborating with internal and client-facing team members toward achievement of the strategic and financial plans and deliverables as part of client engagements that meet and/or exceed expectations on quality/time to ensure client satisfaction, retention and growth

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), CPG Retail, and/or market research industry required
  • Demonstrated ability to apply analytic products to CPG/CPG Retail industry business issues
  • Conceptual understanding of, and experience with merchandising analytics including price elasticity modelling, assortment and demand transfer, category management, promotional measurement
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage end-to projects, from approach/design to delivery of insights
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with ability to deliver impactful client presentations                                                    
  • Proven logical/analytical skills and creativity in addressing business issues with innovative solutions
  • Able to work collaboratively with internal & external teams while leading 2-3 direct reports
  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability to drive client outcomes while managing multiple priorities
  • Strong proficiencies in MS Office (Powerpoint, Excel), Data Visualization (PowerBI, Tableau), and experience in data access/analytical packages (R, Python, SQL)
  • Experience leveraging consumer insights to address client business issues through Homescan Panel and Spectra targeting data is a plus
  • Technical proficiencies in Answers on Demand, Nielsen CASE, Nitro and is a plus

Education Qualifications

BA/BS required; Masters degree a plus.
