Job Description

Retailer Delivery Executive 

Retail Overall Vision: To be the Retailers One Source of Truth. NielsenIQ Retail Delivery team is responsible for delivering accurate, and timeous reporting requirements, while understanding and managing data query/requests from both internal, and external stakeholders.. Using technology-based servicing to deliver on key objectives. Overall delivery team goal to support overall RV goal. The team is  Solutions driven. 

Role of the Retail Delivery Executive

  • Sourcing
    • Work with internal stakeholders to oversee Retailer client’s data quality coming into the Nielsen Factory (RE)
    • Assistance with resolution of Retail Data Queries. Understanding of Nielsen Data processes (Input, RD, Output) and driving resolution of data queries)
  • Servicing
    • Execute on delivery of  retail report requirements (on time = quality) to drive customer satisfaction
    • Continuously assess most efficient manner to deliver accurate data, right time, right person
    • Drive servicing efficiencies through planning and execution of client engagement model with Client Team  in order to attain acceptable client (NPS) satisfaction scores.
    • Using Nielsen technology and/or data to entangle our business within the client’s day-to-day operations
    • Accountable in understanding delivery queries, delays, communicating internally.
    • Analytical, able to find insights within data

Requirements - Experience (Excel (basic VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables) , data analytics, workload prioritization)

  • People
    • Contribute to FMCG thought leadership and internal knowledge sharing for the business through the identification of emerging trends, problems, and opportunities.
    • Build a meaningful relationship across all employees on your team, building trust and a culture where the Nielsen values are central
    • Set objectives and KPIs, performance reviews, feedback, and career mentoring.

Experience and education required

·       Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university

·       Strong analytical skills

·       Basic business understanding (e.g., comfortable with terminology: revenue, profit, loss, margin)

·       Excellent Microsoft office tools usage skills

·       1 year experience in a FMCG analytics environment, carrying out data analytics will be an added advantage
