Job Description

ABOUT THIS JOB 

We are looking for a software full stack developer to help add features across our application stack. Our software provides predictive analytics using a machine-learning foundation to enable our customers to make better decisions. We are constantly adding new features, improving ease-of-use, and optimizing the system. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for analyzing, developing, testing and supporting application software.
  • Investigate, analyze, and design application solutions per acceptance criteria.
  • Perform data analysis for new/existing application solutions, production support, or stakeholder questions.
  • Develop and execute application test plans, analyze test results, and make appropriate revisions to ensure the applications function as specified.
  • Communicate with the Product Owner and team project work activity status.
  • Applies resolutions, leading to timely, error-free revisions in applications.
  • Researches, assesses, and facilitates the adoption of new technologies to support the business operations.

Qualifications

  • Preferably 5+ years of experience with Python
  • Proficient with application database: SQL, Stored Procedure
  • Proficient with Web UI: JavaScript, ReactJS, Bootstrap
  • Java and Big Data and experience is a huge plus.
  • Proficient with several frameworks, databases modelling, programming patterns and principles.
  • Strong analytical skills to resolve issues and problems with a minimal amount of supervision.
  • Understanding of how web application work, including security, performance, and best development practices
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills are essential for stakeholder engagement responsibilities.
