In the role of Client Integration Consultant, you will be responsible for the integration of consultancy projects and technical implementations, with new and existing customers. To support the integration as well as the design and implementation of data syndication feeds plus the 2nd line support of feeds to data consumers. The role requires you to have a right blend of both customer & technical skills as you will often be required to work with both commercial & technical contacts.

In addition as a Client Integration Consultant, you will be expected to provide technical leadership to the support team and be the first point of contact for escalations. You will be expected to manage the daily team operations and ensure SLA’s are being met and ticket queues are under review.

What you’ll do

  • Overseeing the effective day to day operation of the department

  • Escalation point within the Integration Consultant team for the global offices covering faults, advice and work requests around the Nielsen Brandbank internal systems.

  • Liaising with clients to promote best methods of integration

  • Liaising with the business to ensure that all changes to the data model are understood, implemented and communicated to data consumers

  • Publicising and promoting a structured approach to systems integration to colleagues across the business to build consensus around its nature, benefits, and costs

  • Ensuring that the integration architecture is fully documented and managed and that client-facing materials are complete and up to date

  • Responsible for implementing, and managing an Integration Service Catalogue and a standard set of Message and Data Manipulation Patterns to promote service reuse

  • Responsible for liaising with the business to ensure that all changes to the data model are understood, implemented and communicated to data consumers

  • Responsible for ensuring that the integration services are fully documented and managed and that client-facing materials are complete and up to date

  • Support the Incident, Service Management and escalation processes with an aim to reduce mean time to resolution by providing a necessary resource where called upon

We’re looking for people who have

  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience of conflict management
  • Excellent communication skills including building customer rapport and running workshops
  • Significant technical knowledge and experience and a strong understanding of complex data structures (preferably consumer content) and its application across business
  • A demonstrable and in-depth understanding of solution design and architecture and systems integration
  • The ability to understand and dive into the detail of a solution e.g. API definitions
  • Technical understanding of some or all of the following (XML, Webservices, SQL & Relational Database concepts and structures, REST/JSON)
