NicaSource is an engineering agency based in Managua, Nicaragua. We are composed of web engineers and experienced quality assurance testers.

We are seeking a software quality assurance tester to join our QA team based in Managua Nicaragua. This is an exciting position in a fast-moving team where you can provide immediate and lasting value to the company and clients.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain test plans
• Create and maintain test cases for a variety of web and mobile projects
• Exercise repetitive testing procedures on software
• Ensure software meets specification
• Demonstrate test selection strategies
• Research, reproduce, isolate, and concisely document deficiencies
• Maintain testing environment and tools necessary for job functions
• Communicate clearly with developers
• Maintain awareness and readiness to report on product quality

• Software testing experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with defect tracking systems
• Ability to read and write fluently in English

(experience in any of the following is a plus)

• Mobile or web testing automation
• Solid HTML/CSS Experience
• Experience working in an Agile environment
