Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer (Visual) to play a major role in shaping how our design language strategically influences product direction. Nexthink has traditionally focused on a technical IT persona, but our product space is growing to include the business end-user. These types of users have no patience for software that isn't smooth and frictionless. Your contribution will have a significant impact on the satisfaction of millions of enterprise employees who just want to focus on their main job and not become an IT specialist.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Shape and elevate Nexthink's visual language into a distinctive, cohesive identity that serves both our technical IT audience and a growing base of business end-users
- Define the interaction principles and design standards that guide how every team builds experiences across the product
- Set the vision for how we use iconography, illustration, and messaging to reinforce a consistent, recognizable product voice
- Partner with product designers, product managers, and engineers to embed design system thinking into how the roadmap gets built, and champion its adoption across teams
- Build and govern a scalable, well-documented component library that lets teams move fast without sacrificing coherence.
- Champion AI-assisted design and handoff workflows (e.g., Figma Make, code↔design features, MCP) to accelerate how ideas move from concept to shipped product.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a product, visual, or UX designer, with substantial hands-on experience building or maintaining a design system
- BSc in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
- Experience designing complex enterprise applications (not just websites or marketing sites) is a must
- Expert knowledge of Figma, including component architecture, variants, and design tokens
- A strong eye for visual design: typography, hierarchy, iconography, spacing, and the judgment to know when consistency should win over a one-off solution
- Familiarity with front-end implementation constraints and design-to-code workflows, so systems you design are realistic to build and maintain
- Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to putting the user first
- Effective communicator and negotiator; this role influences other designers and teams more than it ships pixels alone
- Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written); French is a plus.
- Online portfolio or work samples demonstrating design systems work and user-centered design solutions.
If you are highly motivated and result-driven, have a high sense of product ownership, constantly learning and enhancing your skills, are open to feedback, and like being accountable and working within a team, do not hesitate to apply.
Please apply with a copy of your CV in English and a link to your portfolio.
