Job Description

Why is Nexthink looking for Exceptional BDRs?  

Nexthink is a rapidly growing Boston Based software company and we are expanding our US Boston based team. We need A-players who want to jump on the rocket ship with us and take this opportunity by the horns!   

As Nexthink evolves in the large enterprise sales space we need top-tier BDRs to help create & advance deals through the early stages up to develop. As the foundation of our sales team, you will be responsible for sourcing net new inbound and outbound opportunities. You will help generate qualified opportunities that result in new business, supporting our scaling efforts and contributing to the success of a smart and driven team.  This is a unique chance to get exposed to large enterprise sales in a team environment led by your Account Executive and requires an understanding of how to nurture and accelerate existing pipeline.

What Makes a Great Nexthink BDR?

You will work closely with our enterprise sales & marketing teams to advance new opportunities through outbound efforts and learn from some of the best! We are a tightknit team focused on building our US business and driving towards an IPO. What you would be doing?  

  • A strong pipeline is the key to successful sales and the BDR is a critical contributor to the pipeline growth. Your efforts will fuel our long term success!  

  • Outbound Prospect via various channels including phone, email, social, and video.  

  • Profile and penetrate Key Ideal Customer Profile Accounts  

  • Map out for the right prospects within your territory  

  • Qualify and convert inbound leads  

  • Execute an account-based Go-to-Market strategy in coordination with your Account Executive partner.  

  • Campaign and event follow-up  

  • Prospect at C-level, VP and Director levels  

  • Effectively articulate the value of our solution to both technical and non-technical buyers 

  • This role requires to be in office Tuesday-Thursday

Qualifications

  • 6+ Months of prior BDR Experience or roles similar   

  • Passionate and driven to excel   

  • A fast learner who is always looking to improve and grow   

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)   

  • Confident, outgoing personality who can drive pipeline activity over the phone   

  • Must be able to work well with others as part of a team   

  • Experience in working in a fast paced, metrics-driven sales environment - Preferred  

  • A demonstrable track record of exceeding targets - Preferred  

  • Outbound calling experience in a corporate environment – Preferred  

  • Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com experience -  Strongly Preferred  

  • Software sales experience desirable but Personality and Attitude are the most important

Base salary ranges are determined by country, role, level, experience, and skills. The range displayed on each job posting reflects Nexthink’s good faith determination of the minimum and maximum targets for new hire salaries across all US locations.
