Title: Tag Management Expert (Tealium)

Location: Hartford, CT

Type: Permanent

Role Description:

• Lead a Web Analytics/Digital Marketing Tag Management solution implementation. 

• Provide consulting services in web analytics tag management implementation.

• Support & mentor tagging development team.

Experience:

• Overall experience of 7+ years, with 3+ years technical experience in web analytics/digital marketing implementation using Tag Management tool which includes:

• Website Auditing considering data layer for creating the tag management solution design 

• Understanding client requirement & Effectively translating requirements into tagging specifications

• Implement best practices in tag development & tag testing

• Ensuring a seamless transition from requirements through design, development, testing, & publish of tags

• Implement re-usable JavaScript snippets that can be used across tagging requests.

• Experience of any leading Tag Management tool Administration

• Preferred Experience in Tealium IQ

• Consultative approach to web analytics/digital marketing tagging implementation, making recommendations to the client to deliver increased value of web analytics/digital marketing initiative.

• Experience in defining client web analytics requirements and designing appropriate solutions using web analytics/digital marketing tool and a Tag Management tool.

• Good knowledge of

• Web Analytics domain

• JavaScript

• jQuery

• HTML

• DOM

• Regular Expressions

• Experience in using Browser developer tools for tag building & testing. E.g. IE Developer tool, Firebug etc.

• Experience in using Web Traffic Analyzer/debugging tools for tag testing. E.g. Fiddler, HTTPWatch, Charles Proxy etc.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other technology subject. 

• Master's Degree a plus

• Any Tag Management and web analytics/digital analytics certification preferred
