Job Description

The focus of the role will be:

  • Develop and manage a Marketing Programs Plan for Rail, in close cooperation with VP Marketing and all internal stakeholders
  • Support all Nexxiot Live Communication activities, including Success Measurement and Budget Control
  • Evaluate relevant Industry events, including a Speaker Program
  • Support our Sales Team with Marketing Collateral, focused on clearly defined Value Propositions
  • Develop a great understanding of the Nexxiot Customer Journey along the value chain in Rail and identify all relevant touchpoints to provide the MarCom Deliverables and relevant Content in the right format and the right time
  • Manage and steer external Marketing agencies, including the set up and control of KPIs in close cooperation with the VP Marketing
  • Develop and manage Marketing Activities to generate leads
  • Manage all Web updates through the CRM
  • Optimize our Website content, conversion and improved regional ranking
  • Co-manage lead generation processes in close co-operation with Sales
  • Support Marketing Processes to assure efficiency in supporting business objectives and internal communication to all stakeholders  
  • Occasionally conduct potential Customer surveys and Market research
  • Understand digital communication channels and make sure our social media channels generate a great amount of high-quality content
  • Ensure our social media channels are maintained all time with high-quality and relevant content
  • Ensure that all MarCom Material and Collateral are according the Nexxiot CI guidelines
  • Set up a briefing and approval process for regional Marketing Communication Deliverables

Qualifications

  • Excellent understanding and knowledge of the Value adding selling approach and the concept of Value Propositioning
  • Strong expertise in the areas of B2B Marketing Communications, Content Marketing, Online Marketing and Live Communications (Event Management)
  • Experience in managing external agencies is essential
  • Very good understanding of digital communication
  • Minimum of 3 years international experience in a similar role
  • Fluent in English & good command of German is necessary (our communication is done in both languages
  • Good understanding and knowledge in social media and digital marketing and experience in Event Marketing
  • Performance based Marketing and B2B Customer Value mentality is very helpful
  • Marketing knowledge within the Rail Industry is an advantage
  • Start-up experience (and enthusiasm) is an advantage
  • Commercial awareness, Project Management Skills and experience in working in virtual teams
  • Self-Starter Mentality with can-do attitude
  • Ability and willingness to freely work in a very small, new virtual team and within the start-up environment
