Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: 

  • Manage Windows operating system architectures, components, and applicable enterprise information system hardware and software. 

  • Provide technical guidance and support for incident management and problem solving to ensure user satisfaction. 

  • Assist with IT system lifecycle planning, including design, development, installation, testing, operation, monitoring, troubleshooting/debugging, and maintenance of new or existing systems.   

  • Ability to manage over 200 Servers, including administration, application configurations, and network configurations. Coordinate and perform all required upgrades and system patching to the systems hosting infrastructure. 

  • Participate in appropriate meetings, workshops, and technical assessments; as well as making formal presentations. 

  • Perform comprehensive program and system tests to ensure conformance with design specifications.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 thru Xenapp 6.5 Server Farms Administration.   

  • Must have an understanding of VMWare, NAS, and SAN Storage Solutions.  

  • 2 to 4 years of experience desired with the following: 

  • Citrix Web Interface 4.5 thru 6.5 (Familiar with StoreFront) 

  • Publishing Citrix Applications (Seamless/Non Seamless) 

  • Citrix Performance, Scalability, and Tuning. 

  • Windows 2008/2012 OS Installation and Configuration 

  • SQL Server Administration (2008 and 2012)

Additional Information

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum two years of progressively responsible experience in designing, implementing and administering complex systems and applications; or an equivalent combination of training and experience for a Windows environment 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline preferred but not required

Technical Skills/Experience: 

  • Experience in Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 thru Xenapp 6.5 Server Farms Administration.

Additional Desired Skills/Requirements (Preferred but not required): 

  • Experience in enterprise geospatial system design, implementation and maintenance providing architecture design, implementation, and support for enterprise class GIS systems. 

  • Enterprise GIS Systems: ArcGIS Server and Portal, MapServer, and GeoServer 

  • Client GIS Software: ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, QGIS 

  • Esri/ArcGIS, ArcGIS Desktop through 10.4.1, including all standard extensions 

  • Registry Editing, Batch Scripting, VB Scripting etc. 

  • Python Geoprocessing script tool development, including custom toolboxes, Python Add-Ins, Python Geoprocessing services, and standalone scripts 

  • The candidate should also possess strong oral and written communication, problem solving skills and should be a team player 

  • Active government background investigation/clearance (MBI or greater) 

  • US Citizenship or work-authorization required
