Job Description

NexGen is currently seeking a BizFlow Studio and WebMaker Consultant to work with the project teams on their architecture and designs to ensure effective implementation of BizFlow Studio and Webmaker projects, which include full lifecycle design, development, and maintenance.  Consult and collaborate with a team of senior subject matter experts, data architects, information architects, JEE architects, solution architects and security architects in defining the overall solution and approach. Requires knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures used in all phases of full life cycle applications and systems development, engineering, programming, and analysis at a highly technical level.

Qualifications

·         Work with a team  from various disciplines to develop a mission-critical, maintainable and achievable BizFlow Studio and Webmaker design

·         Provide recommendations regarding software design and architecture as it pertains to the BizFlow Studio and  Webmaker tool, so that the overall system architecture conforms to client’s technology and architectural standards.

·         Advise senior management and various business unit architecture teams on related technical strategies

·         Hands-on participation in the implementation of the architecture, including ability and desire to get hands-on and work side-by-side with developers

·         Ability to create detailed system/software design that describes business processes, screen design, data, interfaces, reports/queries and system relationships

Additional Information


Education/Experience:·  

·         Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience

 

Technical Skills/Experience

·         2- 3 years of experience with BizFlow Studio and Webmaker

·         Excellent knowledge in application of design techniques, methodologies, and languages

·         Excellent knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

·         Experience mentoring and leading teams of developers

·         Regularly provide guidance, training and coaching to other team members

·         Hands-on Java/JEE development experience

·         Working knowledge with one of the main database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, Informix, MySQL etc.)

·         Hands on experience with the Eclipse IDE

·         Experience with and working knowledge of a relevant subset of the following technologies: .net, C#, IIS, XML, Adobe Flash, Flex, Java, JSP, HTML, HTML5 / JavaScript, Apache, Tomcat

·         Excellent analytical and communication skills, organizational skills, effective at communicating complex structures in a simple fashion and have a high level of interpersonal skills

·         Must be a self-motivated team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment with minimal supervision

·         Able to produce technical documentation

·         Willing to write detailed documentation and adhere to corporate standards/change management policies

·         Able to work on large, remote project teams 

·         Strong client relationship management skills

·         Familiarity with federal government standards, policies, and guidelines

·         The candidate should also possess strong oral and written communication, problem solving skills and should be a team player.

·         The successful candidate will also be able to pass background screening prior to employment.
