At Fenix Port Services, we are committed to excellence by facilitating seamless bulk commodity exports from Geraldton Port. We operate as wholly owned subsidiary of Fenix Resources, leveraging our strategic location to provide efficient and reliable port services. Utilising our on-wharf storage facilities, we play a pivotal role in the smooth flow of bulk commodity exports, supported by the expertise of Fenix-Newhaul’s experienced Mid-West logistics team. We specialise in efficiently handling iron ore sourced from Fenix’s Iron Ride Iron Ore Mine, in addition to other high-value bulk commodities, including high-purity silica and spodumene (lithium) concentrate.

We are looking for Front-End Loader Operators to join our Geraldton team on a casual basis. The role involves operating front-end wheel loaders to handle iron ore and other bulk commodities efficiently and safely.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

• Familiarity with shed maintenance, ore stockpile management, and remote site work.
• Ability to perform under pressure and in varying environmental conditions.
• Knowledge of and commitment to complying with Australian Federal Laws and Western Australia state laws and regulations. 
• Good record-keeping, which is essential for compliance purposes.
• Ability to carry out routine maintenance to mobile plant, and report faults.
• Ability to follow strict workplace and safety procedures & have an ongoing commitment to safe work practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people.

This is a casual opportunity based in Geraldton.

• Valid and current licence.
• Verification of competency (VOC) for Front-End Wheel Loader (FEL).
• Relevant VOC’s for other machinery operations.
