Job Description

Newhaul is seeking a proactive individual to step into the newly created role of Maintenance Planning and Compliance Manager. We are seeking applicants with strong organisational skills and motivation, who can exhibit a dedicated commitment to compliance.

The successful candidate will proactively lead and implement initiatives to ensure that our operations consistently align with regulatory and compliance standards, ensuring overall project success.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Manage relationships with MRWA and NHVR, overseeing permits, and maintaining databases.
  • Act as a superuser for the Maintenance Management System (Mex).
  • Provide Senior Leadership Team with visibility on compliance issues.
  • Design and implement effective maintenance planning processes.
  • Provide maintenance planning tools and attend planning discussions with the workshop and operations teams.
  • Generate maintenance reports, analyse KPIs, and report on repeat failures for improvement.
  • Lead internal auditing practices for standards and legislative compliance.
  • Coordinate ongoing maintenance and capital works planning.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance and due diligence.
  • Actively advise and lead the organisation in compliance-related issues.
  • Coordinate equipment transfers/disposals and oversee CMMS/Inventory system management.
  • Provide support for internal and external customers as a compliance subject matter expert.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Senior Leadership Team.

The role can be based primarily out of our Perth office or Geraldton office.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in maintenance planning and compliance management.
  • Familiarity with PBS/AMMS accreditation and NHVR requirements.
  • Strong background in compliance, quality assurance, and risk management.
  • Experience with Mex or similar CMMS.
  • Engineering or Trade qualification is an advantage.
