Overall duties of the Director of Nursing

•Supervising and reviewing nursing staff.

•Overseeing the department budgets.

•Reporting to high-level staff members.

•Maintaining high standards of care.

•Managing patients' data and medical records.

•Interacting with doctors, patients and family members.

Prior experience preferred as a DON well as having at least 4 years working in a skilled facility.  Experience as a MDS coordinator is also a plus if no experience as a DON.
