Our client seeks the services of a wireless network engineer to implement Cisco wireless access point systems across their footprint.  The ideal candidate will be an eager wireless engineer who is a Certified Wireless Networking Professional –willing to travel throughout DC during day and off shifts to help implement and test wireless systems.  The Contractor shall provide technical validation and interpretation of project and vendor data for engineering/business development analysis,engineering implementation and technical writing.

• Ability to design, implement, integrate, test and support in and out of building wireless access points and infrastructure in accordance with IEEE and other relevant standards.  - required
  
• Perform activities to provide technical guidance, support and technicaldirection to installers and technicians in the field - required
• Ability to utilize spectrum analyzers and other related tools to verifycoverage against standards and determine necessary design orconfiguration changes or enhancements in order to meet design objectives - required
• Familiarity and experience with a wide spectrum of wireless networking and access point products from producers such as Cisco, Ruckus, HP, Avaya,Juniper, etc. - required
• Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP) or equivalent certification highly desired. - required
• Must be willing to travel throughout the District of Columbia during regularbusiness hours, evening shift or weekends, as necessary to meet deliveryobjectives and support /troubleshoot systems in the field - required
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for local travel inDC. Local business travel will be reimbursed per SAIC policy - required
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. - required
• Must be able to work independently and unsupervised - required
